What is CrossFit

CrossFit teens.

Our CrossFit Teens programme starts from the age of 12 until age 16. Teens takes place on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon after school.

CrossFit kids.

CrossFit MCI has a very active CrossFit® Kids programme from the age of 6. We have a class on a Saturday morning for the kids (ages 6 - 12)

  • CrossFit is a fitness programme that produces measurable outcomes through lifestyle changes, centred on training and nutrition. Workouts consist of constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements, and are most fun and effective among friends and likeminded individuals.

  • A CrossFit class is a one hour group session led by a coach. A typical class looks like the following:

    • Whiteboard brief and class introduction

    • Warm-up

    • Skill practice and maybe mobility

    • Workout (WOD)

  • No, not at all. You join CrossFit to become fit! While some movements may seem hard at first the coach and programming is there to ensure you make consistent improvement.

  • Just join online and you will be emailed with details to get started on Wodify which is used to book classes and see the Workout of the Day (WOD). We will also make contact with you and discuss how its going and answer any questions you might have. Best thing you'll ever do!
